Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information DanielleInTech ("I", "me") collects when you use danielle-in-tech.com, why, and the choices you have. I try to collect as little as possible.
What I collect
- Your email address — when you sign up for the free cheat sheet or the email list.
- A source tag (e.g. "tiktok_bio") — only if it's in the link you clicked, so I can see which content brings people in.
- Basic activity — timestamps, which sequence email you're on, and whether you've downloaded a file or purchased. A general browser/user-agent string may be logged when you open a download link.
I do not collect or store payment card details. Purchases are handled entirely by Stripe's hosted checkout — your card information never touches this site.
Why I collect it
- To send you the cheat sheet and a short series of practical emails.
- To deliver any product you purchase.
- To understand which content drives sign-ups so I can make better content.
The legal basis is your consent, given when you sign up. You can withdraw it at any time (see "Your choices").
Who I share it with
I don't sell your data. I use a few trusted service providers to run the site, and they process your data only to provide their service:
- Supabase — stores the subscriber database.
- Resend — delivers the emails.
- Stripe — processes payments.
- Netlify — hosts the site and serverless functions.
- Cloudflare — DNS and domain.
How it's protected
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, and access to the database is restricted to server-side functions. I keep secure backups so your data isn't lost. No system is ever perfectly secure, but I follow reasonable, standard safeguards.
How long I keep it
I keep your email while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your data, I remove it.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time — there's a one-click link at the bottom of every email.
- Access or delete your data — email me and I'll take care of it.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
